Fabric
Quality Control System
GECOTEX
is the IT system adopted by the Fabric quality control
Tribunal. This system operates in Microsoft Access Visual
Basic and includes all the functions necessary to issue
in very simple and easy way the comprehensive documentation
about your piece quality.
The
system allows you to achieve several and remarkable goals:
- The
computer collects the data about defects for each inspecting
machine, in real time.
- The
operators of the inspecting machines can work more, as
they don’t have to fill up the quality reports,
which are printed automatically.
- The
office staff can work more, as they don’t have
to deal with errors due to manual data collection.
- The
data about fabrics to be inspected are directly collected
by the management system, via file transfer (or other
data exchange modes)
Fabric
inspection
The "Inspection" phase is a part of the piece cycle. During this
phase, the data are recorded, some in automatic and some arise from manual
checks. The operator enters those data by means of special screen-touch keys.

of defects, signalled by the operator
